Megusta Travel plans more than getaways for two. Group trips start at just 10 travelers, and we've coordinated church groups, corporate retreats, quinceañera celebrations, school trips, and multi-generational family reunions, handling every bit of the logistics and communication so the group leader doesn't have to. On the water, we work with the Caribbean and Bahamas, Alaska and the Pacific Northwest, European river cruises, and luxury and premium lines, matching each traveler to the right ship, cabin, and itinerary for their budget. We started Megusta Travel in 2024 because too many families were losing the joy of planning a trip to endless comparison sites and second-guessing. Founder Cristina Avalo built the agency to feel like working with family — fully bilingual in English and Spanish, so nothing important is ever lost in translation.

Megusta Travel LLC holds an active Florida Seller of Travel registration (license TI117642) under Florida Statute 559.927, so every trip we plan comes from a properly licensed agency. That registration is part of Florida's consumer-protection framework for travel sellers, and we keep it current rather than treating it as a one-time formality. Our office is open Monday through Friday from 10:00 AM to 7:00 PM and Saturday from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM, closed Sunday, with online service available 24 hours a day. For international trips we recommend six to eight months of lead time to lock in the best rates and availability, though we've also pulled together wonderful getaways on two to three weeks' notice when a traveler needed to move fast. One detail we always double-check with clients well before departure: many countries require a passport to stay valid for six months or more beyond the travel dates, and we'd rather catch that early than have it become a problem at the airport.

We strongly recommend travel insurance for international trips and can walk you through options that cover medical emergencies, trip cancellations, and lost luggage. For groups, we're upfront about cost from the start: some trips qualify for complimentary planning through our preferred suppliers, while more complex, highly customized group itineraries may involve a flat planning fee discussed with you before we begin, so there are no surprises once the group has committed. We also work directly with the hotels, airlines, and tour operators involved, so if plans change we're the ones coordinating cancellation policies, modifications, and rebooking options with each supplier on your behalf.
